ProVision Overview
he millimeter wave (MMW) technology in the ProVision® system utilizes safe radio waves to detect threats that may be hidden under a person’s clothing. A broad variety of concealed materials, including both metallic and non-metallic threat items, can be detected using the ProVision.
U.S. Airport Deployments
More than 700 ProVision® ATD passenger screening systems have been procured by more than 100 airports in the United States. The deployment of these systems is part of the Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) order from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Cook County Department of Corrections
Cook County Department of Corrections (CCDOC) in Chicago, Illinois covers 96 acres and 10 divisions and is the biggest single-site county pre-trial facility in the country. CCDOC installed 10 ProVision systems, which are used throughout their facility, as well as L-3’s PX™ series X-ray systems for screening mail, hand-carried items and packages.
